Sukkat Shaleym

Sukkat Shaleym is the “American Friends of” non-profit which works in conjunction with our Israeli non-profit Yeshivat Simchat Shlomo to bring about the manifestation of Jewish spirituality in meaningful, accessible, and practical ways. Comprised of several Torah and Chessed projects, it provides Jewish enrichment in both Israel and the Diaspora. Its programs reach out to Jews of all affiliations and backgrounds, cultivating Jewish unity and continuity.


A full-time learning center offering dynamic women’s and men’s programs encompassing both text-based and experiential Torah, including, Talmud, Prayer, Meditation, Kabbalah, Chassidut, and Jewish storytelling. The program is designed so that each student may form fulfilling relationships with the material, each other, and his or her own spiritual journey.


Yeshivat Simchat Shlomo offers live broadcasts of a number of select classes and they are available in a growing archive of various Torah topics.

Torah on the Road

A unique vehicle for re-forging connections between small Jewish communities through shared multi-level Judaic studies curricula encompassing text-based and experiential Torah, Talmud, Prayer, Meditation, Chassidut, and Jewish storytelling.

Hachnassat Kallah

Private classes for Kallahs are available with Rebbitzen Judy Brodt.  Classes focus on the spiritual and religious legal aspects to prepare for marriage.

Gemillut Chassadim

Providing short-term interest free loan Jewish families in need.
