Advanced Women’s Chabura

A Text-Based, Serious Learning Program for Women with Some Hebrew Background

The YSS Chabura is designed for students who wish to develop and strengthen their learning skills so that they will be proficient enough to pick up a sefer and find their own way through it. The program encompasses the study of Tanach, Gemara, Halacha, and Chassidut in a framework that encourages the integration of their learning with personal spiritual growth. Students will discover their own insights as they broaden their experience and awareness of the profundity of the Torah and its relevance in our lives. Most importantly, there is an emphasis of learning for the sake of doing. Students are encouraged to live the Torah they learn both within private and public spheres.
